It is with great sadness that we share the news that Rob Wilson passed away earlier this month. Rob was a valuable member of Waitakere Auckland Brass for a number of years making the trip from Tauranga for contests and concerts whenever we needed him.
His funeral was held at Legacy Garden's Papamoa, Tauranga where there was a large band involvement at the funeral. Players from all over New Zealand were in attendance including a number of our current band members who travelled to Tauranga for the service.
Our thoughts are with Heather and his family at this sad time.
